Alert Security and Investigations, Inc. is a growing Hudson Valley security agency based in Kingston, NY. President and CEO Kevin Costello is a retired Lieutenant-BCI, with over 20 years of service with the New York State Police. Kevin has over 30 years experience in law enforcement on the town, county, and state levels as a Police Officer, Trooper, Criminal Investigator and Supervisor. He has succesfully completed training in criminal law, anti-terrorism, personnel management, executive protection, and emergency management, and has a B.P.S. degree from SUNY, and a Masters degree in Public Administration from Marist College. He is certified as a police instructor and is a certifed security guard instructor.
As President and CEO, Kevin heads our team of security personnel, providing outstanding security services and the most highly qualified, experirenced, and professional investigators to all clients of Alert Security, Inc. All security guards participate in initial certification and continue with training throughout their employment. Investigators all have extensive law enforcement experience as investigators with the NYPD, New York State Police, and other major police agencies.
